Aspire2Be Academy Level 3 student-athlete Patsun Tufan was invited in for a two-day trial with Premier league Side Huddersfield Town FC on the 11th & 12th of December.
Patsun is a hardworking and driven student who has been rewarded with the opportunity off the back of some outstanding performances for the Aspire2Be Academy, in both competitive and showcase fixtures.
After impressing the Premier League side coaching staff whilst on trial, Patsun has been invited back to the Academy immediately in 2018 for a longer period and to perform in a competitive fixture for Huddersfield Town.
Academy Manager Leigh Bromby was full of praise for Tufan in his performances over the course of the two-day trial.
Patsun took part in two 11v11 training practices which consisted of both the U’18 and U’23 Academy Sides. After restructuring their academy this season, Huddersfield are looking to run solely with an U’18 side and U’23 side that will compete in the ‘B League’ structure from the beginning of the 2018/19 season.
It has been a fantastic experience for Patsun so far, who will continue to be fully supported by the Aspire2Be Academy throughout his trial process.
